More about the film
How do we end cancer as we know it? How do we increase access to cancer screenings and other early detection efforts? How can we best listen to and engage underserved populations on what they need most — and the barriers they face?
Join the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute as they embark on a sweeping journey. From mobile outreach vans providing screenings to some of Oregon’s most underserved populations to ground-breaking research rooted in personal connection, Healing Within Reach tells the story of the life-saving importance of equity and access in cancer prevention, detection, and care.
