About the Presenter:
Helen Bellanca, M.D., R ’99, M.P.H. is a family physician who has practiced in Oregon since completing her residency at OHSU in 1999. She has provided a full range of primary care in rural and urban settings and is currently employed by Northwest Permanente. In addition to her clinical work, she has spent many years in health care policy and advocacy, and was the former associate medical director of Health Share of Oregon, the state’s largest Coordinated Care Organization. She currently serves as chair of Oregon’s Universal Health Plan Governance Board.
