Menopause is redefining midlife health, yet translating this cultural shift into clinical practice remains a major challenge. Many women still struggle to get clear, accurate information about what to expect — and how best to manage their symptoms.

Join women’s health specialist Amy G. Cantor, M.D., M.P.H., MSCP, FAAFP, for an evidence-based review of perimenopause and menopause. This session provide practical tools for translating current best practices into meaningful clinical conversations.

What we’ll cover:

  • Perimenopause and menopause fundamentals
  • Recognizing and managing the menopause transition
  • What has changed since the Women’s Health Initiative study — current evidence on hormone therapy benefits, risks and timing
  • Best practices for hormone therapy, including indications, formulations and individual risk-benefit assessment
  • Common clinical questions about the role of hormone therapy in symptom management and long-term health outcomes
  • How to normalize menopause conversations and help patients navigate misinformation
