About the presenter:
Elizabeth Eckstrom, M.D., R ’93, M.P.H., MACP, is Professor and Chief of Geriatrics in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics at OHSU. Her research focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle in older adults, including multiple randomized trials demonstrating the benefits of tai chi for fall prevention and improved cognition. Her newest book, The Gift of Aging, shares research-based strategies and motivating stories of elders to help us all age with joy, purpose, and engagement.
