As a dental public health specialist, Dr. Foster Page began her career in a rural general dental practice, before working for the next 15 years in different areas of dental public health in New Zealand. She began her academic career in 2008 conducting epidemiological and clinical research and has published over 100 papers. Her main research focus has been engaged in how to enhance oral health care in the community. Her current research focuses on oral health and HIV, unstably housed communities, rural health and HPV. She joined OHSU in 2022 and leads a diverse team that has focused on building community partnerships to ensure today’s graduates are successful in navigating, advocating and improving the oral health of the changing communities that they will practice in.
