While the movement to expand access to Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) has gained momentum in the U.S., this form of end-of-life treatment remains controversial. Join us for a thought-provoking look at the current state of Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) presented by Charles D. Blanke, M.D., FACP, FASCO. Charles D. Blanke, M.D., FACP, FASCO, is a professor of medicine at OHSU’s Knight Cancer Institute. In addition to his commitment to patient-centered cancer research, Dr. Blanke is involved with policy and research issues related to MAID including the decision-making process, demographic descriptions of users, and drug development.
