Make a difference today and save on taxes. It’s possible when you support OHSU or Doernbecher through your IRA.
If you are 70½ or older, you may transfer up to $100,000 from an IRA directly to a qualified charitable organization, such as the OHSU Foundation. A direct transfer from your IRA is:
- A way to make a tax-free rollover from a retirement account and
- A distribution that counts toward your annual required minimum distribution
