As an academic health center with a mission to support the health and well-being of all Oregonians, OHSU has a duty and responsibility to address the underlying causes of adverse health outcomes, and that includes racism.
Jim and Darlene Cain were steadfast supporters of OHSU. After Darlene’s passing, Jim and his family were inspired to give because of Darlene’s lifelong commitment to a diabetes cure.
