The OHSU Alumni Leadership Council is the representative voice of the OHSU alumni community. This group of volunteer leaders works with the OHSU Alumni Team to strengthen the OHSU alumni network.
The council’s work groups lead initiatives that support students, celebrate excellence and add value to the alumni experience. Current projects include:
- Alumni Awards — recognizing outstanding alumni achievements
- Student Support — helping with career exploration, celebrating milestones and reviewing scholarship applications
- Timely Topics — identifying topics and speakers for the popular Timely Topics Webinar Series
- Admissions Support — writing welcome letters, talking to prospective students and encouraging admitted students to choose OHSU
